YouTube is going to attract all the worst and most narcissistic people just by nature of being YouTube. You will probably never find anyone tolerable because the ones who are either don't care enough to ever get big enough for you to discover or flat out don't exist.

Good ol' Cybertron, James Baek (he's a bit boring on personality, but his battles are highly competitive and entertaining), Baz Anderson (rarely uploads nowadays, but he always used off-meta stuff to good success). Unfortunately, all the other good VGC channels died with Swooshy.
