Since the anti-Swishers insist on letting Swish reside rent-free in their heads, this is a thread to entertain them and tell them how wrong they are. It's on their minds, anyway.

Swish is not just a battle sim. It is a fully fleshed game using new technology of the Switch. PBR animations take minutes long so you'd complain about that anyway if Swish had them.

I like SwSh, but it was a drop off from SM. It does competitive way better and mints are great; however, the towns feel too small and they feel too close to each other. It’s also disappointing that there were no dungeons (Galar Mines doesn’t count as a dungeon). That said, I enjoyed the game and definitely think it’s better than XY, which was a slog for me to get through.

SWSH's battle animations were in fact improved, just not for double kick

A lot of the Pokemon that were completely cut (meaning they are not expected to return in the DLC) aren't exactly Pokemon that most people use. Basically some starters and ignored mons that you wouldn't care about if you weren't busy reeeeing

Post game was actually fucking garbage, fuck stupid hair men. But Raiding events are still fun and the DLC wasn't terrible

You don't have to buy the DLC to receive the added Pokemon. Yeah buying the DLC sucks considering Animal Crossing gives it for free but the DLC wasn't bad and corrected at least one of the complaints

I can't remember all the bullshit these sadbois used to defend their anger, but the games weren't that bad and the cutscenes were at least way better than SUMO/USUM. They were a huge improvement on that abortion

pokemon's main content comes from the battles. sure there's other parts, but the main meat is battling.
when there are massive cuts from the battle system and when dynamax makes it WORSE, you expect there to be alternative content to make up for it, but there is none.
as for animations, not only was it proven that PBR animations are of similar speed- if not BETTER, not nearly as many people would complain if it used high quality animations like those. you're putting words in our mouths.
this game is FAR from fully fleshed, and EVERY SlNGLE SWlTCH TlTLE OUTPERFORMS lT.

and yet what you got was a SCAM GAME with less quality AND quantity. what's the point of nature mints & shit like that if the comp meta is unfun bullshit inferior to the previous gen's? what's the point of replacing megas & z-moves with dynamax when dyna breaks the game? what's the point of saying "quality over quantity" when it's been proven time & again that these games lack the quality of a GAMECUBE GAME? what's the use of the wild void if all it does is let me do the FAT FUCklNG NOTHlNG that this game lets you do? what's the point when routes are reduced to hallways, towns are lifeless & empty, the graphics & animations are abhorrent, & GameFreak LlED to us about it?

the only thing poor here is your logic:
the postgame in swooshit is as follows:
> small gym leader segment (15min)
> battle tower (every region has one. this being the only facility is pathetic)
> wild void (wander around aimlessly in an "open world" rendered by a fucking N64 & catch some pokemon. oh wait it doesn't matter since there's no nationaldex.)
> raids (why would you redo any of them? just get the mon you want & leave. this is HARDLY 15min.)
and that's it.
save for kalos it's the least amount of postgame we've ever gotten.
