>>44895443 Why do you think you're a genius for barely using high school introductory physics? There's nothing smart about your idea as well. You're implying the speed stat of a pokemon is its velocity. Why would a Pokemon's speed change throughout a battle? You're just complicating the game for no reason by accounting for acceleration. What does this graph even mean? It takes a Pokemon several turns to reach its max speed? To reach max speed are they supposed to be running the entire time while attacking and taking hits or does it just magically happen because the Pokemon is pumped up or something? You'd assume acceleration rates of Pokemon would only matter when the pokemon is attacking since it would come to a stop at the end of the turn. You can just assume the speed stat is already a combination of "acceleration and max speed", which is what speed means anyway. Speed is just the measure of how far something moved in a given time, it doesn't necessarily imply your velocity since you could have changed directions or slowed down
