I was a horny motherfucker with a raging giantess fetish back in the day still am, so that part really hit me in all the right places, man. I approve.

Pokewood was pretty fun to calm down from all the rest of the game, but it did get shit on by RNG fucking scenes up half the time. I'd like for them to try the setting out again some other time at least, make a game dedicated to making movies with Pokemon, with a different style of gameplay from the main series, but we're in Gen 8 Pokemon now where all the spin-offs are soulless garbage appbait or awful remakes of $8 GBA games, so I expect it'll never happen ever.

ib most cases GF doesn't understand that stuff can be optional. it took them decades to understand that we don't need a tutorial on how to catch pokemon anymore, exp share is now mandatory, following pokemon either is there or isn't.
the only meaningful thing I cam think of right now that is optional is the battle style

The real autism is acting like a forced 10 minute tutorial completely ruins the game and makes it unplayable/unreplayable.
It's annoying and shouldn't have been forced, but it's a blemish on an otherwise wonderful game so I can easily look past one shitty part.
