So here we have all the Pseudo Legendaries.
If we specifically take a look at the dragons and their typings we have
1. Dragon/Flying
2. Dragon/Flying
3. Dragon/Ground
4. Dark/Dragon
5. Dragon
6. Dragon/Fighting
7. Dragon/Ghost

Anybody spot the Anomaly? Hydreigon's typing is Dark/Dragon instead of Dragon/Dark.

Hydreigon's Dark-typing is far more pronounced than its Dragon-typing. First and foremost, this Pokemon is a malicious monster based on the hydra/Yamata no Orochi, which is first and foremost a malevolent serpent, not a dragon. This Pokemon being Dragon type is only due to it having reptilian features later on that become dragon-like. A secondary typing is added later to a primary typing.
The difference between:
Water/Flying - A Water-type that eventually learns how to fly off the ground through evolution (Wingull and Pelipper presumably had an ancestor that were pure Water-type birds that learned how to fly later on).
Flying/Water - A Flying-type Pokemon that develops characteristics of Water-types by being able to fly near water, manipulate water, and feed on water predators. Cramorant is a bird Pokemon that ate numerous species of Pokemon, including Pikachu, before it ultimately went towards Arrokuda, their favorite delicacy now.
A Dark/Dragon Pokemon is characterized first and foremost by its malevolent nature, and demonic/sinful origin. It later gains a Dragon-type through it being similar to dragons or reptiles. Guzzlord is the same.
A Dragon/Dark Pokemon, conversely, would be a Dragon-type that eventually becomes malevolent and evil. A Dark/Dragon Pokemon starts off as a Dark-type and becomes Dragon later on.

The order of typing is arbitrary and doesn’t actually matter. There’s no mechanical inclination to even imply the order to matter. Everything is just autistic speculative pattern seeking by losers with too much free time.

Game Freak intended for the type order to matter. Otherwise, they would have made every Pokemon of a type combination the same type. Why is Zarude Dark/Grass when Shiftry, Nuzleaf, and Cacturne were Grass/Dark? Why is Incineroar Fire/Dark while Houndoom is Dark/Fire? Yea this is actually the only reply on here that matters. Everything else smells of Virgin hood. still doesn't answer my question as to why they designed a primary psuedo legendary dragon for every gen and decided to make this one secondary but its a step in the right direction.
