>>44900931Heart of Gold. Someone who is kind, compassionate, and empathetic, yet is pure, refined, and free of any imperfections, impurities, and corruption. Soul of Silver. Silver, compared to gold, deals with subtlety and emotional strength, rather than gold's outrageous and extravagant displays of power. Compare Ho-Oh to Lugia. Ho-Oh is the dominant figure in the Johto's mythos, with Lugia being largely forgotten about. Lugia has extrasensory perception that lets it dwell inside the Whirl Islands, far away from people, after the Tin Tower was burned. Ho-Oh took a much more active stance and actually tries to guide the people and Pokemon of Johto through its servants: three Pokemon that perished in a fire, were resurrected by Ho-Oh's kindness and strength, and became stronger as they serve Ho-Oh in their reborn lives. Lugia has a loose connection with the Legendary Birds, far more subtle as several side games and even a few main series titles have alluded to Lugia being the trio master of the birds, but nobody knows the absolute truth. Lugia is relatively hands-off and detached from mortal affairs; the same can be said about the legendary bird. The only recurring aspect of these Pokemon is that they are far more intelligent and reserved than the legendary beasts. A few of them even decided to venture into the Galar region to prepare for the threat of the Ultra Beasts and evolved into Galarian forms. Silver is used for healing and has strong associations with the moon. Golden Sun and Silver Moon. Sun and Moon. Domineering, bold, and powerful masculine energy through Ho-Oh. Subtle, enduring, and insightful feminine energy through Lugia. Seems very unusual for Game Freak to reregister the trademarks unless they intend to do something more with them. It can't just be for 10th anniversary, right?
