Definitely Johto because it has a ton of historical architecture. Kanto seemed to go through some cultural revolution of a sort because every building in Kanto looks like a commie block

DP were my first real games that I could play consciously, but Unova had such a fucking fresh feel to appeal to older audiences, plus older characters and cool tech region so I would say Unova
