Galar's starters are bad in the sense that Inteleon and Cinderace are absolute shit, but Rillaboom is just as boring as the Unova starters.
Neither of these gens have at least one good starter design in them, but Galar is way worse. Having two shitty and one average-looking Pokemon is two steps below three average-looking Pokemon.
