Pokemon Unbound Battle frontier is god and the best game we'll never get, it makes me want to go and learn showdown and I think I will if I keep playing it.

Pokemon Insurgence (not a hackrom though). It's everything a pokemon game should be

>difficulty modes
>almost every character is relevant (all gym leaders for instance)
>great plot (it has its flaws - went way overboard with the fanfiction at some point but it's great overall)
>extensive postgame as well
>easy ways to grind levels/evs
>easy to make your ingame mons have good ivs

Pokemon Pyrite, a Crystal Hack. There's more than one hack called Pyrite I think but this one increases the difficulty a lot but does it well.
I caught a shiny Houndour on my first playthrough but my hard drive died, RIP. This hack cranks up the shiny rate to like 15% chance or something

I've played Radical Red, i like the update movepools and stat changes. I very much dislike how every boss in the game has perfect pokemon. It's not fun to see every boss one-shot your mons because they will always be faster and have perfect coverage. Maybe i'm just too lazy to grind idk.
