Yeah same. It was a real waste of potential (even if it was the jump to 3D), a bit harder and other rivals could have be a nice improvement.

If you want to fix the raids, all you have to do is keep searching for a Link trade/wonder trade/card trade/ect. Best way is to keep a password up while searching.

Afterward it's usually pick the first interesting one you see as fast as you can. You have to reload thrice, but it does the trick to have the freshest raids.

You could easily access other person and trade/battle with them, the connection was great and it was functional. The plaza in sun and moon was by far the worse

They want to keep things "fresh". While I understand wanting to change things up to keep things from not being so stale, but this often leaves actual good features out of future titles making each new gen feeling like side grades instead of improving upon it's predecessor

I'm going to try to complete all types in Restricted Sparring. Reaching a minimum of 10 wins each. What are good Normal types? So far I plan on using

and that's it. I have an Exploud I made for boomburst shenanigans with Noivern but I don't feel like he'll be that great. Tauros maybe? Snorlax is kind of slow so he won't be great. Heliolisk?

I actually just got to 18 rounds with this team. I could've done the full 20 if I wasn't walled by a Magnezone without Braviary's CC. Might make some improvements like giving Cinccino a King's Rock or replacing him outright. Porygon2 was the clutch king saving my ass like 3-4 times. Not sure what type I'll do next since I already finished Steel, Fighting, and FIre. Maybe Grass?

You forgot the best part, you could do all that while playing normally. It didn't matter were you were you could do it whenever you wanted, no shitty hubs, no backtracking to the center, in a dungeon, in a gym even on the league you could battle, trade or do a game sync. It was marvelous.

I’m actually considering improving the gym leaders teams and making the story a bit more deeper. Not a rom hack just on paper or something like writing the new plot and new teams.

Didn't buy the game or just the DLC? I like the DLC a lot so far. If you're really interested I'd say to consider it when Crown Tundra comes out. A lot of cool stuff will be coming with it and both that with Isle of Armor would give you a real solid amount of stuff to do. I can understand why paying 30 for only the IoA wouldn't sound too good

Done with Ghost type! Gengar was the MVP taking care of entire teams by himself. Aegislash was worthless, probably taking down a total of 5 Pokemon total the entire run before getting knocked out. The glassiest of glass cannons I've used so far. Dragapult was mostly used for clean up except he beat the last 4 battles by himself after a Sucker Punch Bisharp killed both Gengar and Aegislash on round 18. I think I'll try to redo Steel and Fighting next since those are at 12 wins and 11 wins respectively

I really do love Mustard, something about the old man hiding his power level cliche always gets me. His music and animations are all top notch. Definitely my favorite character of the Gen next to Raihan and Rose. I'm not sure what it is but I can see him fitting right in with the cast of Orre. Maybe it's the eyebrows and animations during battle.

Is the reset den exploit really the best way to get watts? People keep telling me it is, but I feel grinding dens and digging ma for armorite ore for digging pa is much more efficient.

for me Diggina Pa is way better, but that's because I just do raids constantly and use up a bunch of wishing pieces. Digging Ma is by far the most useless NPC, I never get more than 2 Ore from her

The DLC scales with your gym badges I think, as for Urshifu I prefer the Water one. I think the Dark one's Wicked Blow technically does more damage than Surging Strikes, but I prefer not having a 4x weakness to fairy

So far my Isle of Armour team is
Cinderace
G-Slowpoke
Bulbasaur
I put the last two at level 60, yes my autism made me waste candy’s one the gift G-Slowpoke. I only kept Cinderace on the squad. I’m adding Kubfu once I get it. I might add another giftmon or bring back one of my old mons

You should add some IoA Pokemon to the team. Wouldn't feel that fresh of a team if you're only using pokemon from the base game

Well the idea is you don't gamble, you just run around looking for her in her 15 spawn locations and get 1 piece at a time, or try for more. I find the exploit faster, but way to tedious and mind numbing. I'd rather do raids and ride around.
