>>44926441Game Freak wants you to get out of your houses. Remember what Saturn said in the Gen 4 games? Something about how extremism is never the answer. Do you get why Pokemon GO and these social events exist? But if I were part of Game Freak, I'd go beyond just this. I'd be fine taking my system out on the go as long as I am able to catch Mythicals in a more casual, carefree, and time-relaxing manner. If these Pokemon can be get normally in the game and are time- or event-exclusive, Mythicals that are normally time- or event-exclusive should, in my humble opinion as a fan of this franchise, be made available in the game. You can still have your cake and eat it too. Have the Mythical events to celebrate special events and holidays, and to get people out of their houses and to socialize/connect with the world. Have those, absolutely. But also make Mythicals a recurring thing. If Zarude is time-exclusive and you normally have to go to an event or a movie to watch it, or if you need a smartphone to scan it at a local Gamestop, maybe some people who don't want to go to Gamestop or don't have smartphones would appreciate Game Freak catering to niche little communities like mine who are console-only enthusiasts. If we could have stuff like Magearna in SM or Deoxys in ORAS, but we can go outside and spend time with our loved ones. Satoshi Tajiri initially created these games with hikokomori and other people like myself in mind, right? Or at least he had to contemplate hikokomori. I mean, we have Swadloon as a Pokemon. Some of us may be like Swadloon and just stay where it is most comfortable, blending in our surroundings and not wanting to stir up trouble. Wanting to do good and be good, to give back to the world, to people, and to nature. But maybe in our own little safe spaces. Not trying to hurt people or put others down, but to still have a space to call our own. Game Freak started out as a safe space for bug collectors who also love computer programming, right?
