They're pretty neat, even if they are wholly unnecessary. 99% of Pokemon are viable in-game, bu that isn't the point of these lists. It's interesting to see how a collective groups how viable in-game Pokemon are and how some Pokemon who are bad in cometitive are great in the story and vice-versa.

Competitive Singles has been pretty consistently popular since like Gen 4.
It's only VGC that ends up having super dry years that no one cares about depending on that years ruleset.

They're pretty unnecessary, but if you're playing a game for the first time and not planning to go in blind, they could be pretty useful. The main issue is that they're buried in a subforum of the exact type of people that wouldn't find such a tier list useful, but whatever.

The best thing about these is that you can clearly see which games are actually fun on repeated playthroughs judging by the activity in the thread. RSE vs ORAS is probably the funniest one.
