Why is the anime doing the "villain" arcs so early now

They used to wait until near the end of the series or in XY's case, after the League to do them

SM and Journeys have both done theirs early, without any of the events from the games that led up to it, it's just "ok here's an out of nowhere villain plot now"

Because the games come out yearly now so it’s more content that needs to be covered. SWSH has 4 different story chapters for the anime to handle and that’s just those games, there’s no telling what we are getting for the next two years.

Have you even following the anime? Meowth said that Language has taken 3 move slots. He only have one attack at a time. He changed it regularly, from Fury Cutter, Cut, Slash, Scratch, Night Slash, etc.

The only other moves he's used are Scratch, Fury Swipes, and Bite. He said he was going to try to learn Night Slash, and apparently did, but never uses it because it's "too scary".
