The only things banned in vintage are unsets, "dexterity" cards, and Sharazad.
These cards are banned for the problems they cause in actually running a tournement (Infinite sub games, turning your cards into confetti for optimal use, etc)
Vs Lurrus being banned because its too strong. It's the first card ever printed to be banned from vintage for power level reasons and the meta is now just Snow Oko and anti Snow Oko.
The past 5 years and especially the past 2 are literally the worst magic has ever been at and I grew up with Mirrodin in Type 2
