Aesthetics Starter themes

Say these were the themes of the starter Pokemon during the last 4 Gens:

- Gen 5 Monarchial
- Gen 6 Feudal Warriors
- Gen 7 Assassins
- Gen 8 Musicians

>Is it better than the themes we have now?
>Would it change anything regarding the past gens?
>What Fire starters if any fit these aesthetics or come closest? Any "good" fire fan-mons can be included.

Emboar is a feudal warrior, though. Serperior is a Musketeer, Samurott is a samurai and Emboar is a Chinese Three Kingdoms era soldier.

That answers the question for Gen 6 & I agree, but this isn't going off the official basis. It's going off the idea that the aesthetics of the previous gen's water starter is carried over to next gen's grass starter.

Pretty much taking that idea and forming new starter trios based purely on shared design principles. Emboar for example is indeed a Chinese feudal warrior, and its aesthetic of a masculine big bearded warlord fits with Chesnaut/Samurott perfectly. If Samurott were fighting typed they'd all share that too, but the theme is good enough.
