Alot of the normal types that have come out in the last few gens kinda suck. The gen 2 & 3 the normal type gyms did gave me a damn hard time unless I use a fighter. Hell that elite 4 with bugs clapped my cheecks so a normal would work if they got buffed for the future gen

Assuming they do E4 again after Galar dropped it, it's possible.
Disregarding whatever Pokémon were introduced in the region, I always imagined a Normal E4 member with Snorlax, Porygon-Z, two out there choices (say, Girafarig and Heliolisk) and then a Smeargle with an annoying moveset.
