>>44969231I wasn't feeling Koharu when she first popped up and had her episodes cause of how she acted around others and she wasn't doing much or seemed interested in anything, but now that she's actually doing stuff and getting more interested in Pokemon, I realize they're ACTUALLY planning to do something with her and she's super interesting to me. Honestly, I wish is was her traveling with Ash to different places more often.
Go, on the other hand, I liked at first cause of his personality but then his goals started getting in the way. Go feels like a walking, personified answer to the complaint of 'Why don't they just make the anime more like the games and have the MC catch lots of Pokemon every episode and really catch em all??" by showing just how boring it is when that's all he does and he usually activly avoid battling save for when he HAS to do it. He kinda feels like Kanto Ash if he never got his shit kicked in by other trainers & Pokemon and never had Misty, Brock and Gary to give him a reality check. Especially in regards to his dream, which is just NOT happening.
It honestly feels like Go needs to split off from Ash at some point and get a rival to help him grow while Koharu needs to travel with Ash more since he'd be way more helpful and beneficial to helping her come to love the world of Pokemon.
