>>44972189I do want to give Pokemon one thing: The Pokemon themselves are filled with intrigue, mystery, and potential. They have creatures who can see the future, creatures who can destroy cities, towns, mountains, mind control, talk, are of enlightened levels of intelligence, gods, etc. These should be the main focus in a main series Pokemon game. Rather than having the villains be humans (or maybe instead make them side villains), start using Pokemon instead. Some of them could make some really interesting antagonist or side quest material.
They could start using what they've written in dex entries and lore for said creatures for the story a bit more.
