>>44972888Fun desu. Gym Challenge story is honestly enjoyable simply because of how grand and festive the atmosphere is! Hope you get into the excitement of it as well.
Dress up Gloria or Victor to your heart's content! There is a clothing store right at the beginning of the game in Wedgehurst. You can find the rest at: Motostoke, Hammerlocke, Circhester, and Wyndon. Each one has its own inventory, so make sure to give them all a look through. First salon can be accessed as early as Motostoke. Style their hair, brows, and eyes. Change the hair and brow colour, put in contacts, or even give them a whole new hairdo. Go to the Rotomi in any Poké Centre in order to customize your very own League Card. More options are unlocked as you progress through the story, so keep checking back.
Play with the team in Camp if you would like to! Similarly to Aime and Refresh, the more you play with your Pokémon, the more friendly they become towards you (Friendship and Affection have been consolidated into one system within this game). You will receive in-battle benefits like before, so if you do not wish to have these, perhaps save the playtime and curry-cooking until after everything is said and done.
Hopefully you will become attached to some of the characters over time, because you will be seeing quite a bit of them all (save for the Stow-on-Side duo and Circhester duo)!
Max Raid Battles are kind of slow desu, but they aren't necessarily bad. The rewards you can net from them are pretty awesome, from treasure to sell, to Technical Records (comparable to the single-use TMs from Gen IV and before) to strengthen your Pokémon with. The AI allies are pretty pathetic for the most part, but you can make it through most Raids alright. If you subscribe to NSO, you can connect with other players to participate in their Raids, or let them join yours.
I have more I could say, but I am running out of space haha. :D
