>>44979253it's hard to say, easier to say what i don't want. so many monster catching games are wholly nothing but pokemon clones, trying to be be pokemon and failing because of it. overworlds that look the same, monsters that look like average deviantart fakemon at best because they're trying to ape the style (and ripoffs of actual pokemon at worst), a story revolving around you being a young whatevermon master setting out on your quest. half the time even the name ends with mon. i'd like to see new entries to the monster catching genre that don't sound as if you took the premise of pokemon and switched some keywords out. not edgy grimdark, but something geared a little less towards tiny children. it was fun as a tiny child, i'm sure it's still fun for tiny children, and they're welcome to it, it's for them. something with a more interesting world and plot than just looping town-cave-route while a wacky team tries to destroy the world.
