I've been to showdown once recently
all it is, is every single player abusing teams that are specifically designed to kill anyone just trying to have fun and are not using specifically tailored pokemon to shutdown spammers like these.

They also got rid of the "ITT: We pretend we're in the Pokeverse's 4chan" threads. They're struggling to survive in the trash bin, but most of the people who post there are people who see it as trash thread - Pokemon edition. None of the quality you'd see when the threads were here.
