Which is more than I can say about the other games.
SWSH rested on its laurels, skating by on the novelty of being a real console Pokemon game
XY was lazy dogshit
ORAS was a lazy hackjob of the original games
And LGPE was maybe the worst fucking thing ever commited by this franchise.
SM for all its faults, at least felt like it wanted to go in a new direction. A shame nobody at GF actually knew how to do that.
