Calyrex is tied for the most weaknesses of any Pokemon, its ability is confirmed to be Unnerve, it looks like a special attacker (so no strong Grassy Glide) and like it'll be frail (making its many weaknesses even more crippling), and I'd be shocked if it got access to Spore or Leech Seed or anything like that.
In other words, it doesn't have any of the upsides to being a Grass type, and it has all of the downsides.

It does a lot to help Lunala.
Crawdaunt, Yveltal, Urshifu, Golurk, Alolan Marowak, Hoopa Unbound, and Absol.are the only Pokemon that can OHKO a fully invested Lunala from full HP, and all of them besides Crawdaunt need to be banded to do that.
And of them, only banded Crawdaunt and Yveltal can guarantee that OHKO.
