The only fun thing about Pokemon nowadays is competitive battling on Showdown. The games fucking suck since the transition to 3D happened, there aren't anymore good spin-offs, the anime has long overstayed its welcome, especially Ash, and there are only so many times you can replay the good generations before you get bored. You can't even catch 'em all anymore.

Maybe it's time that Game Freak stops developing Pokemon and it's handed to a competent developer.
