Sinnoh legends was a mistake. There's no reason for your character to even encounter, let alone capture, what are essentially Gods of the Pokemon universe. The fact that they can just be captured and become subservient to you despite having reality warping powers and intelligence beyond human comprehension breaks the suspension of disbelief. And then, you can just capture the trio again with Hoopa portal rings, Ultra wormholes and Dynamax dens without even a second thought. They just don't fit in the Pokemon series and are a lazy attempt to powercreep the legendaries before them.
