What features would you realistically want DP remakes to have in order to be considered good?
(other than the obvious ones like graphics, animations, natdex, battle frontier..)

I have no interest in remakes, they are worthless. Revisiting a region is meaningless because no Pokemon characters have genuinely good writing and personalities, and I am not autistic enough to have nostalgia for a videogame.

There is no reason to want a DP remake. Remaking oldass games like RB is fine, but a DP remake would play exactly the fucking same, except worse because now every bad cutscene takes longer, now the graphics are uglier because GF can't do 3D. The only "upgrade" would be the way online battling works, which is worthless, because it would be the exact same shit it already is in SwSh.

Cyrus and Team Galactic in general need a re-work to be a bit more interesting, the ORAS treatment would serve them well

And on the minor side, why not have an early Saturn battle? Weird how late he’s introduced compared to the other admins and would add another nice early game challenge, a battle with him could fit nicely at Hearthome

I just don't want them blackwash the sinnoh region with brown skin trainers. Diamond & Pearl are some of the whitest games in the series. There's almost no dark skinned trainers in DP aside from the tanned trainers on the beach.
