And the reason I brought that character up is, based off from what I've seen as a 3rd party, is that it's not that far off in the pokewaifu scale, it's probably #2. That one poll for the queen of /vp/ only had them four votes apart while for the humans Cynthia had a commanding lead in the poll, the shotout to it in the anime and the spin off games, even idubz and his friend Max had both at S tier in his attractive pokemon list, etc.
I was expanding on my answer that the lack of competition in gen 3 and that dumb dex entry probably gave it a hefty headstart. I was theorizing that if it's competition was in the same gen things would probably be different.
