This is easily the worst fight in the game so far. I beat him, but it was the first fight where I had to use items to win. Their levels are way too high (A full team of 48-50? really? when your team is probably 44-45?)

To be honest I'm enjoying the game a LOT more than I expected to. The balance is amazing and I love that there's a limit on items used in battle; always thought it should be 0 for trainer battles but 4 is still better than infinite.
All the 'mons are really fun to use too, and it's nice having that feeling of discovery again when not using a wiki to see what evolves into what. I have a feeling from here on out though that I'm gonna have to start wikifagging a lot in order to survive the trainers in the second half.
