UU=Underused
PU=Nothing. It's just a play on words "pee yew" as in these Pokemon stink and you shouldn't use them.
BL=Borderline. Simply a banlist for the tier below it. Such as these Pokemon are banned from UU and below, but don't have enough usage to be OU statistically.

Hitmonlee was really bad but Hitmonchan was way way worse, easily the second worst FE after Ditto. Even Farfetch'd was better.
People just don't remember Hitmonlee was really bad because they usually compare it with Hitmonchan.

Hitmonchan's best move is body slam and it can only use fighting and normal moves. It's also weakest to the Psychic which is awful. It's stats are horrible. Shit is awful as anon said.

Yeah, and the elemental punches were the cherry on top of the shit cake.
To further illustrate how fucking weak it is, Thunderpunch doesn't outdamage even Seismic Toss against shit like Cloyster. Ice Punch isn't even a guaranteed 3HKO against Dragonite.
Unstabbed Body Slam coming from Hitmonchan is also ridiculously weak, as it doesn't even 4HKO Chansey 100% of the time, and that's without Reflect.
Poor fucker.

I've always wondered how the Hitmons fate would have changed had they had their 105 Special Defense in Gen 1. Better Special than Starmine, though with worse health and weak special attacks in Hitmonchan's case.

That's interesting to think about. From a purely theorymon standpoint, i think Hitmonchan would still be shit, but not in the top 3 worst FE anymore. Hitmonlee would have appreciated the extra bulk, but it would be nothing to write home about.

Oh man, don't get me started about Onix. Probably in the top 5 weakest FE in the game (not as weak as Hitmonchan, don't get me wrong), and Bruno has TWO. Not to mention, the only rock stab in the entire league is both Onix's Rock Throw. Holy shit, that's pathetic.
