I was planning to get a ton of powerful Pokemon in preparation since we didn't know the level cap for CT, but with rental teams for the raids I don't think I'll bother now. I already have a team of level 100 powerful Pokemon plus all of the story legendaries.

I'm currently figuring out who I want to pair with for the Galarian Star Tournament. And it seems who you pair with also effects who the other characters pair with, so if you want to see the different interactions, you'll need to replay the tournament. (I really hope it lets you replay the tournament, because I want to pair with everyone at least once and see all the possible pairings banters).

I really advise against this unless you absolutely want to have a Zamazenta or want to see Allister and Melony despite them being very minor characters. The biggest difference is Avery being your IoA rival. I borrowed by friend's copy of Shield after I beat Sword and I personally don't think the second version has enough new content to justify buying both games. I think the best route is picking which version you want to play the most and then watching the version you didn't pick exclusives on youtube.

Even then you can get all the exclusive including Zamazenta and everything else. You already need it to finish your Galar dex and get the shiny charm, and you'll definitely have people online ready to give away it and many legendaries/events/shinies/ect for free

The reason I want Shield is to get Heracross, Toxicroak, Goodra (especially since it has a new healing move now called Life Dew), and fenmale Indeedee. I don't like buying two versions either, but I figured if I waited for Shield bundle on ebay and saw one for 40-50 USD, that would be cheaper than getting a normal copy of Shield for about 30-40 USD (last time I checked most of the copies I saw ranged from 30-50 USD) and paying 30 USD for DLC on top of that.

This is going to sound autistic as fuck, but, whatever I DO NOT want to pay for NSO. I'm okay with paying 40-50 USD for a game but 20 USD yearly subscription services is where I draw the line. Besides, I would rather it be my OWN pokemon that I catch, not a pokemon that somebody else caught. Depends what you want to do with him or what your current team is. Obviously if you play a rain team you'd want the water one. Water is great if you want to break Focus Sash since its signature move hits 3 times, but it can't learn any dark type moves.

The Dark form has a slightly more powerful signature move and it has less type weaknesses, however it's 4x weak to fairy even if it can outspeed most fairy types. Be aware of anything that can know a fairy type move like Tentacruel, Arcanine etc.

I have yet to complete the IoA Pokedex (did finish the main games) but I just find it so tedious idk. I've gotten Master Rank numerous times in the Battle Stadium though I've never broken the top 20,000 because I don't use the best team composition, just Mons that I personally like.

I also haven't finished giving BP to Mustards wife for Dojo improvements so I guess I could work towards that. Is it even worth it though?

Leon is cool, Hop is literally the worst "rival" I've had to deal with, Bebe is arrogant but at least seems more interesting than Hop, and Marnie seems like she has a lot of shit to deal with due to Team Yell.

I still need to finish my armor dex. The only thing I want out of crown tundra are shiny raids for mons that I want. I hope we can do legendary shiny raids. I think once I fill out the galar, armor and crown dexes I'll breed teams for restricted sparring. Can't think of much else to do besides that though

You can't because it's a gauntlet so you can't reset, use your own team or affect them with say Synchronize natures. You run a gauntlet with fellow players or AIs through 4 other dynamax'd pokemon until you reach the legend then fight it to capture.
