We know everything about it except who are the black and white horses, which is worthless because this is Pokemon and the lore and story around them will likely be badly written as usual.
There is no reason to rush and play it, there are no neat surprises like battle facilities and old character cameos. By all means it looks like getting the DLC was a mistake.
