The base game wild area is pretty mediocre but the DLC wild areas are fucking great. I look forward to future games if they just make the region like one huge wild area with better graphics.

why do retards insist wild area > wild area + dungeons though?

for example i think the desert bowl on IOA should of had a desert temple in it similar to bw with volcarona, except it has a boss g-coffagrigus and yamask can be an area based evolution instead of that stupid -49 hp and walk under random walk thing

That's one thing it would have done better than the Wild Area. Not to mention wide open plains with small elevation differences make for a shit open world-esque design which is what I assume was the point of the Wild Area.

You theorizing that they could've changed the evolution of one Pokemon is completwly unrelated to the conversation. They could've made the evolution area based in the Wild Area, they just chose not to.
