It's more likely that Tencent would give GF money to make it NOT in China. Think of all the shit that's banned in the media there, like time travel, or skeletons. There's even more guidelines in how media not banned in China has to be portrayed. For example, hearts of iron actually portrays the CCP as ahistorically powerful, to the point where man for man they're the strongest army in China, yet is still banned because china is depicted as divided (because it was under a civil war) and that's a big no no. If you really want a China game itll have to be ancient like >>45030059

How much chink propaganda are we talking about?
If it just takes place in a China region and portrays it as an extremely good place to live with the best Pokemon and the best trainers, then it'd be fine.
If the game is full of unskippable cutscenes talking about how great China is and interrupting the actual gameplay, then hard pass.
Also, Bewear would have to either be removed from the game or locked to never be shiny.

More money *won't* make Pokémmon love you again, you retarded little shitbag. Nintendo have enough money in reserve to run at a heavy loss for 60 years before needing to sell off IP's, meaning even if that was happening, they could still afford to order more Pokémon games off Game Freak and keep Pokémon alive as a brand.

Instead, there are lots of awful movies and TV series about time travel, Palace (TV Series 2011– ) , Scarlet Heart (TV Series 2011– ) , The Myth (2005).

One of the outstanding Chinese time travel movies is A Chinese Odyssey Part One: Pandora's Box (1995) .

I also watched Interstellar, Source Code and some else time travel movies in cinema.

Actually, there are few excellent movies or TV series on time travel in China.

Gamefreak doesn't need money. You think they don't have all the money they could possibly need?? SwSh had 1000+ people involved in a company of only ~200 (IIRC). Hiring that many contractors means they have all the money they need

It's cheaper to hire contractors then having them as permanent workers. Especially in garden, there are thousands of people ready to work hard for almost no money because it's a "dream job" of theirs. Gamefreak HR can just shout in window "giving away sandwich for creating new 3d models for pokemon" and see a line of people form.

This. Modern "China" isn't even the real "China", the CCP destroyed everything China represented with the Cultural Revolution and Great Leap Forward and the country is a shell of its former self
Taiwan would be a better contender because they managed to modernize their society while preserving Chinese culture and traditions
