The ones who think they'll return in the DP remakes certainly are, given they were removed from the Gen VIII engine and the DP remakes will also happen to be using that same Gen VIII engine as-is (think of Game Freak like F1 engine manufacturers - the team who make the new Gen games, the main team, they're like Mercedes, making the engine and using it themselves. but when they start on the next one, they give the remake team the old one, the equivalent of Mercedes selling last year's engines to Williams for this year, who don't make any changes or further development of those engines, just use them as they get them).
Megas are gone for this Gen, people can't cope with that fact still, that's where the issue stems from.
