Lapras and Blastoise are threatening because of the 100% accuracy Blizzard, but they both share many of the same weaknesses.
Snorlax is a hard hitter, but its stab requires it to recharge and its special attack isn't much
You really just need something with a ground move to OKHO Pikachu, an electric or grass type to kill blastoise and lapras, any fire or psychic mon for venusaur, a rock move for charizard, then just have the whole squad gang up on snorlax. The music video shows Tyranitar and Ampharos who are great picks for this fight. Typhlosion, Heracross, and Espeon are three other generic HGSS team members that can help. The Johto elite 4 gets really buffed when you collect the 8 johto badges so you can grind with them.
