On the second week of SwSh I did various giveways on /vp/ and the code system made it a breeze to get thru all my breedjects as quickly as possible. It's a shame we can't connect directly with friends, but the concept is very good.

I just beat SWSH recently and the matchmaking fucking sucks. I can't join any raids. Also you need a code every time you want to trade? That's such a step backwards. Big buyers remorse, but at least it wss used.

I've been playing since March and have managed to join one raid in all that time. Maybe tried over 100 times, using every method. I can host them no problem but shit is awful since I'm always the fucking Dynamax and limited by what is in my game at that time, if the dens even bother to reset.

It's true though, PSS was great at the time but I think people started worshipping it too much during gen7 since the Plaza was such a downgrade, making people forget that it wasn't a perfect system.

The trick to getting in online raids is to try and join shortly after the Y-comm refreshes. You can try manually refreshing by going offline and online which helps sometimes. I haven't done them much recently but surely raids aren't being filled up instantly anymore since the DLC has been out for a while.

Now, and stay with me here. List the things that BW removed from HGSS.
XY were blatantly troubled in development, but to pretend that it's the first step down when SM/SWSH made the same mistakes but worse is egregious.
Like them or not, XY did the most out of all the 3D games. The only crime is that they didn't keep their promise with Bank and that Gen 7 didn't build on the foundation Gen 6 had.
