My younger 7 year old cousin seems really big into pokemon tho, but I don't think she knows I played it as a kid. Still it's interesting and kinda cute to see a kid experience the same sorta novelties I had when I was starting out but for recent generations, her family is too poor to afford to buy her the main games tho since my dumb aunt and uncle had 7 fucking kids, so I'm considering giving her my old 3ds and some pokemon games, Ik she'd love it
