this is why Gen1 will always be the best generation.
Current generations only focus on selling the next furrymon to boost plush sales, but when a new generation pops up, people move to the next trendy pokemon. this is why people don't get attached to new games. there's no world building, no unique personalities for pokemon, no destinctive features... everything is just "new characters to consoom"
