Overall, a great variety of different types (all but 2), body plans (both humanoid mons, impish short ones, dragon/kaijumons, flying mons, objectmons, and even a quadraped), levels of popularity (ranging from shillmons like zard to popular mons like Garchomp, to more niche favorites like weavile and oddballs like Croagunk) and playstyles. The majority of the game's pure zoners are in low tier, and Chandelure, while good and in the upper half, isn't a top tier character. Pokken's best characters are usually generalists like Mewtwo, Lucario, Braixen, etc
>could we please get something akin to Guard Impacting in Soul Calibur to cockblock combos?I don't think Pokken needs this when it has a Focus Attack like SFIV, the entire purpose of that mechanic is to allow reversals. The height system also allows this, if you are in block and the other player uses a move in a combo of the right height state, you can use a move that dodges that height to punish it.
