>>45084294Honestly, the OP is pretty fucking bad. I stand by my comment about derailing bad threads to make them good, but I also can't deny the power of an OP, especially in the catalog era. Back when people used the main page of a board, you could see that a thread changed direction wildly (how many old screencaps have you seen of threads with an OP of one topic, then later posts of a completely different one?) but the catalog only gives you a look at what the OP said in a single post. Useful for finding what you want if the OP was good, terrible every other use case.
>>45084330There's something fundamentally wrong with both of us, probably. In different ways, but we're definitely mutant or malformed in some way. On insults. it could be the Hedgehog's dilemma again. Even a completely anonymous community is too much for some people, even me sometimes. So we push them away as much as we can. Image boards have given me a chance to acclimate to the rest of the shitty internet culture I have to occasionally brush up against. I don't know how people can actually use Twitter.
>I don't even know why I post here desu lol. I don't play Pokémon that much anymore nor do i even like it's new changes. I just like male pokecock that much, I guess. There's more to Pokemon than the games, or the franchise, or the Pokemon for that matter. I've felt a similar way, although I've also got my own plans that probably won't go anywhere, might have mentioned earlier. I guess, if you don't like the way things are going, try taking them in a direction you like. In threads, in Pokemon, in life. Maybe you can't do all of those, but you can try some of those. One of my biggest accomplishments is writing up half a design document for a Pokemon fan game though, so take this with a grain of salt.
