Given how stupidly rare they are from the Cram-O-Matic, are you more likely to receive one from grinding the League Tournament?

Wondering what peoples thoughts/experiences are on this.

You can't transfer any items upwards. You can transfer mons inside of them, but you're limited to only the things catchable in HGSS. (Or any other game where you get them.)

Anyway, the kid hints to Kurt being in Galar, possibly in the Crown Tundra. Perhaps he'll be a way of getting guaranteed apricorn balls.

I used to be be obsessed with Moon Balls. Like I had to have everything possible in them.

But ever since gen 7, my tastes have changed. Now, I'm all about the Beast Ball.

It's the only ball that matters.

You can collect around 15 of each apricorn per day from shaking trees. That's 105 total, and you need 4 apricorns to make a ball, with a 1% chance of it being an apriball. So without date skipping to reset the trees or buying apricorns from NPCs you can expect to get an apriball every 4 days.
Safari and sport balls are a .1% chance. So far I've gotten 10 apricorn balls from the cram-o-matic but neither of those yet.

Even better option anon: once you've completed the dex, you can run around the island looking for the girl with the blue shirt. She'll sell you 4 apricorn for 100 watts. You can do this forever. She never disappears, only changes location. It's much faster than the league and you can get many many apricorns if you have time

This, I grind her and digging ma for about 2 or 3 hours a day. Between her and the trees I get a lot of apricorns.

Does mixing them lower your chances? I figure with 40 of each you get more balls than running each color alone.

Mixing them divides your chances of which Apri-ball you get, but the odds of getting one in general stay the same. So, for example, if getting one at all is a 1% chance, and you use two different colors, you have a 0.5% chance of getting either color of Apri-ball.

Personally, I just date-change while circling around the forest constantly. (Each tree in the forest has a higher chance of dropping a certain color of Apricorn, and they only drop apricorns.) I was able to get a full bag of every color in just a day or two of mindless grinding.

I just hope the next expansion gives a better way to earn them. The shitty RNG system is bullshit, but on the plus side you're guaranteed a 100% capture rate when you host your own raid den

So far I used my love ball on Eternatus, wasted a heavy ball on a non-host raid and got myself an Alcremie with the beast ball (Which resulted in pic related). Got myself a bunch of mons that uses different rare balls through trade but I still need to place them in order in my box (Except for beast balls which has it's own box with 13 different pokemon). I'm not gonna waste time getting myself different balls until it's becomes easier
