>>45078468>>45078535>The Master Ball never made an actual appearance in Pokémon Origins, only appearing in Silph Co. president's secretary's demonstration in File 3: Giovanni. She mentioned that the Master Ball was still in development, and only existed as a prototype. She also told that it was why Team Rocket had taken over their office building; they intended to accelerate the development of the Master Ball and then steal it when it would be completed, making sure they would be the only ones possessing it. After Team Rocket was driven out of the building by Red, it was mentioned that the development of the Master Ball was being put on hold for a while.Unlike the regular anime, Origins is a direct adaptation of the game, yeah it had the mega charizard bullshit but they were forced to in order to promote the new games.
In lets go they show the scene before the player arrives:
>Now, now, Mr. President. I hope you're not thinking of lying to me. The Master Ball... You successfully created one, didn't you! We had a deal! You agreed to this! ...You're a smart man. I'm sure you can imagine what will happen to your people if you say no to me now. From lets go and the original red & blue:
>Ah. Young (Player). So we meet again! The president of Silph and I are discussing a vital business proposition. Keep your nose out of grown-up matters... After Giovanni is defeated and the president gifts you the master ball he advises the player to keep quiet about it as there are still people after it. This happens in Red and Blue.
Pokemon tower, Red & Blue: a rocket grunt tells you they are having an adult conversation with mr fuji
Lets Go: they show the scene before the player arrives where they intend to force him to repeat his pokemon research for team rocket
As you can see, Lets Go had to spoonfeed zoomtards the things that were subtly implied in the originals that you had to put together. Apparently for good reason as it clearly went over your head.
