I have 12 beast balls from restarting the game just to get them, on one hand I'm happy I no longer have to beat the game to get another one but on the other hand I'm upset that everyone will be running around with 999 beast balls

Eh, don't worry about it. Gen 7 proved that despite how easy to get Beast Balls were in USUM, a solid 90% of the playerbase doesn't bother despite wanting them.

They'll still be very valuable.
