I can imagine Rillaboom in some random jungle but where would these 2 live? They both have human jobs in their dex entries. Do they just evolve and start working with humans? Would they really want to live in the woods.

actually, it'd be kind of cool if humanlike pokemon were shown to form primitive societies in the wild, with tool use and simple huts. i'd still hate their designs, but i wouldn't hate that they're humanoid if it was purposeful.

The problem with these types of discussions is that it always stems from the other side’s lack of imagination.
I can easily imagine Cinderace in the woods in burrows or Inteleon living near lakesides or ponds. Don’t know what the theme has to do with them suddenly not living in the wild. I mean, we literally have fucking painter dogs along with samurai bugs and sea lions.

Pretty much this. Inteleon looks really serpentine from behind, I could easily imagine it clinging to a tree and sleeping there, or wrapping its tail around a clutch of eggs. Same goes for Cinderace- it’s not any different from say Lucario who has been around for 15 years now, so I can imagine it training its babies up in the mountains.

Cinderace's natural habitat is a meadow, but the flowers in the meadow form the exact shape of the lines on a soccer field, and the trees form goals and bleachers. It grazes on Wheaties and sucks the sap from trees that happen to have the exact same ingredients as a protein shake.
Inteleons live in ponds, but there's secret trapdoors under the ponds that lead to burrows that look exactly like MI6 Headquarters. Inteleons also often gather fruits like grapes and juniper berries and ferment them to make martinis. Shaken, not stirred, of course.

Its hard to imagine them in the wild due to how humanoid they are for me. They're too specific yo the theme at hand that it clashes with any attempt at trying to put them in a "wild."
Along with Cinderace's human-like calves amd legs I can only see it in the possession of a trainer or urban environment. Inteleon has the same issue. But the problem with these is that the theming comes first before the animal. Cinderace is more soccer player than it is rabbit, Inteleon us more spy than it is lizard.

There’s a rugby monkey pokemon, and they train their footwork in the wild, so the precedent is just DNA.

the problem is not that they look humanoid. the problem is their jobs. A bunny developing soccer skills is still passable MAYBE but why the fk would a lizard need to become a sniper in the woods?! it's clearly a modern adaptation. I'm saying they don't exist at all in the wild.

Honestly Sobble’s line makes the most sense out of the jobmon starters practically. Sobble starts out with hit-and-run tactics and hiding to defend itself from predators. Drizzile has adapted its abilities into hiding and making traps to defend itself, as well as sniping prey with its long tongue. By the time it’s Inteleon, it’s capitalizing on its survival skills from when it was growing up, and made them more efficient.

Given its a rabbit, it would be a herbivore and likely eat vegetables, fruits and berries.

Forests or Meadows probably in fairly large sized burrows to accommodate for their size.

Likely training it’s legs running, jumping and kicking since it’s leg strength is boasted about.

Rabbits IRL have to deal with foxes, wolves, weasels, and some birds as predators. Looking at the Galar regional dex Pokemon like Noctowl, Corvinight, Thievul, Liepard, Ninetails, Arcanine, Obstagoon, and Braviary would most likely be a threat to young Scorbunny and Raboot. Cinderace being much stronger and faster could likely fend off or escape from these mons.

I don’t know, do all Smeargle have painting ingrained into their DNA? Do all Greninja have the teachings of the shinobi ingrained into their DNA? Do all Infernape have the story about taking a journey to the west ingrained into their DNA?

It's funny how you cannot see them in the wild, but being perfectly fine with Rillaboom because he is a "gorilla". This is just a matter of immagination and logic if you think about it, because if you don't see Inteleon and Cinderace as humanoid, but as monkey-like, thinks could change. I see Cinderace having fun with their similar in the woods, playing football and Inteleon being a stealth predator.

Sorry I wrote that while half asleep. The point I making where the body proportions compared to Mr. Mime. Cinderace and Inteleons propotions are mor human than Mr. Mimes. Mr Mime is literally just 6 circles with limbs. Virtually no neck, it's legs are located underneath it's body, it's far more monstrous than both. Add on to that the fact that Mr Mime is supposed to come off a bit creepy and uncanny. Sure Mr. Mime is still very humanoid, but I can see it living in grasslands at the very least even if it's not wild. (overtime TCPi has started to shift over from creepy to funny.)

Smeargle is designed to be goofy. But then again it's proportions are far less human like compared Inteleon and Cinderace. It's just bipedal.

Inteleon and Cinderace were designed intentionally to be cool with human like proportions. They have necks with shoulders underneath. With long legs, located underneath it's torso. They are built like humans. With non exaggerated personalities. Inteleon to lesser extent. The only rabbit features Cinderace has are it's ears, mouth, nose, toes, tail, and hands. Everything else is made of human shapes with very human proportions. Even it's eyes are more in line with human anatomy than rabbits. Since rabbits have they're eyes located in the side of their head. Inteleons shapes are more exaggerated yet still keeps the human-like proportions, even it's hands are more dexterous and human like than Mr. Mimes.

Anon, to be frank, everything you typed up is extremely subjective and arbitrary. In the same breadth that you can imagine a Mr. Mime in the wild someone else can’t. There’s someone multiple posts above you that even mention not being able to imagine Mr. Mime in the wild. Majority of your post is literally focused on the shape of the Pokemon being humanoid but I don’t see how that makes much of a difference. Smeargle not being shaped exactly like Cinderace or Inteleon doesn’t suddenly make it not a painter dog monster, which is what it is. Each of the Pokemon can all very easily imagined in the wild, you just have to apply it by the standards of Pokemon’s fantastical world and not ours because ultimately the creatures are NOT direct 1-to-1’s of their inspirations. It’s fine if you can’t see them living in the wild, but they in actuality can be imagined living in the wilds of Pokémon’s fantastical world.
