I always loved the Regis and weirdmons in general.
I'm happy to see Regirock getting good shit and I hope Regice and Registeel get a buff, too.

I agree that this sort of thing happens, but I think the Regis have always been loved legendaries From their designs to their amazing puzzle/mystery, even ignoring the OMP OMP OMP memes. Fucking everyone wanted the Regis to get their fair shake, ESPECIALLY Regigigas since it was introduced.

Regirock and regime have mediocre 100 base attack and spa, respectively.
Registeel has pretty much unusable 75 for both attack stats and it has always been a mostly passive pokemon.

The average mon only has an attack or special attack in the mid-80's.
100 is pretty good. Especially on a mon that can survive hits and keep attacking.

Regirock is slightly faster, which is a small advantage, but an advantage nonetheless.
Regirock doesn't instantly die if a special attacker sneezes at it.
Regirock has a usable attack stat so it doesn't have to rely entirely on Body Press for offense.

Iron Defense or Curse
Earthquake or Steel STAB
and an effectively free slot you normally find them running SR?
Rock has a near identical movepool doing the exact same thing
