4. For a good portion of Megas, it requires some sort of strategy instead of just mega evolving as soon as possible like a retard. Sableye, for instance, loses Prankster. So a common strategy was to get utility out of Prankster and go mega sometime afterwards. I.e, the same metric that dynamax retards were using to say that it was better somehow.

The games would be much better without them and would be more balanced if they just tweaked megas/burst as they went on. The concept of having to find new mega stones hidden away in regions means we don't have to keep retconning new gimmicks into existence that no one's ever heard of.
