Not with nips at the helm it doesn't. Nips are even bigger Jews than actual Jews are. American corporations like the mouse are willing to throw away millions if it can make them billions. Nips are content with shoestring budgets no matter how massive the franchise. This doesn't apply to just pokemon but the entertainment industry as a whole over there. Just look at one piece or dragon ball for example.

No, and I say this as a latina with lots of issues SJWs would consider make me "oppressed" but I won't list. Games like Pokemon are for innocent fun, a form of whimsical escapism into a world where you're just a kid doing fantastical stuff alongside colorful creatures. It's not a game that should let politics and agendas dictate what it does and how, it's has no place in such a world. Politics in games in general are bad taste imo, but I can understand why more """"mature"""" games would choose to use them, but any more than that is just wrong. I don't play games like Pokemon to be reminded of irl issues/struggles or to be "educated", I just want to enjoy myself in this fantasy world and forget everything else exists for a while. If I wanted to face such things I'd seek irl media.

The closest they've gotten so far to the kind of shit Disney pulls is by making the strongest champion brown but even then, Leon is ambiguously brown instead of a blatantly obvious stereotype like Lenora or Nessa so you can't even figure out which race he's meant to pander to

Basically they kidded themselves on that there was no dirty blacks, jews and anything other than white characters in the pokémon universe (even going as far as to claim dark caracters are anything but what they're portrayed as). With Hop as rival, Leon and Raihan the Champion and his best bud of Galar, they're spacking out because not only are there brown people in Pokémon, they've taken over and are running Galar too (Rose also being a swarthy character compared to Galar's lilywhite population).

Exactly, those characters are non white as well. We didn't have 100% confirmed white characters as a whole until Kalos, before that we only had Surge at most, so Pokemon never was this "white paradise" you accuse others of liking.

I think you underestimate how much manpower is involved in animation. Animators in Japan are slave laborers that work 75+ hour weeks and make Chinese sweatshop workers look like they're getting off easy. It's crunch time all the time for them, so hiring more animators would just bring more suffering into the world.

And mangaka have it even worse.

The problem isn't budget. Monolith makes better games with a shoestring budget. Even Xenoblade 2, the worst of the Xenoblades, looks, plays, and sounds far better than Sword and Shield, despite being made by literally only 45 people (ignoring voice actors and guest artists for the blades).
