The Switch is an extremely successful normie bait system. Everyone buys one even if they don’t play video games much because it’s somewhat inexpensive and has first party IPs with recognizable characters. But at the same time nobody really explored the eshop because nobody cares about finding nee games to play. People playing on non-Switch systems don’t care for Little Town Hero because they have even less of a connection to the company.
If even Kirby Star Allies can be the 3rd best selling Kirby game, that’s really telling of how the Switch as a console is doing.
