And that if played truly blindly, there was zero clues about Gardevoir getting mega evo because the stone is available in post-game event?

Since I didn't got spoiled on the new gen 8 pokemon, I actually got surprised by a lot of them while I was playing. I remember losing my shit the first time I saw the Hattena, and even more when I got one and evolved it.
Not getting spoiled on the new mons really made me enjoy SWSH much more.
