>>45098044Good game. I've been revisiting Kalos to get some pokémon for my living dex and I must say, it aged really well. The region is still vibrant and fun. I much prefer Gen 6's way of making routes more interesting than Gen 7 and 8. The french influence was there but not overwhelming while Sun and Moon were so based on Hawaii that it hurt the overall experience. Pokémon, while not many, were all solid. I've even grown to like the hands coming out of a rock. Who would've thought.
The story was alright. Pokémon was never known for its good writing and this is a good example for it. Team Flare is such a bad team, the only thing thats worse is Macro Cosmos (because they are barely in the game). Lysandre is such a bad villain, he's laughable but again, i've grown to him and his bullshit philosophy.
So yeah, I like it. And would if have gotten its third version, expanding on the region (looking at you, southern Kalos), the story behind the legendaries and Zygarde and other changes, this could have become even better. Another reason to dislike Gen 7.
